In a surprising crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "A strange confrontation draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "strangely garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Features

Players who finish the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
